So, this is my story for the aforementioned Rocketbot Anthology!
For the story, I wanted to branch a bit outside my usual comfort zone of superheroes. I didn't venture outside of science fiction however! So rather than sci-fi action, I decided... how about sci-fi suspense/horror?
And thus came Discessus. Set in a near future where technology grows ever more impressive and powerful, there's a couple of young adults who use their "overclocking" (or "ocks") tech and go somewhere nobody cares about anymore: The past. Specifically, an abandoned and haunted hotel on the outskirts of town. What do they want there? What will they find? Or rather... what will find them?
The story, pencils, and inks are all by me.
was generous enough to handle the colors, and pitched in some great ideas for style.
wrapped it up with lettering, and put a neat bow on it all for the anthology piece!
